Radical Curiosity Now
Power to the Curious
In context of the prevailing dualism and polarization in the United States, this website offers a suggested activism-inspired response to the question:
The mission of this page is to inspire individuals to enact a daily curiosity practice. You'll find free downloadable info docs, social posts, and links to organizations already working hard to restore unity. No email or sign-up needed. Just go get curious!
"I am just one person. What can I possibly do to help restore unity?"
You can start by practicing curiosity!
Curiosity > Animosity
We discover our personal values and truths through introspection and life experiences (not by blindly accepting every headline we read). Regaining trust in your own curiosity helps restore the agency needed to navigate a world littered with “us or them” rhetoric. Being courageous and accepting your own knowledge gaps fuels curiosity. Curiosity evokes action. Action sparks change. Can curiosity loosen the grip of dualism? Surely it can help, and at minimum it is a first step in turning away from polarization and towards harmonization. By bravely softening your ego and deciding to choose inquiry over acrimony, you can practice the intellectual and creative muscles needed to thrive in a world of opposites.
